WhereSafe Lands OrderTrailerParts.com As New Dealer

Deal Comes Amid Growing GPS Demand in Trailer Space

Solutions Into Motion today announced its latest WhereSafe dealer – OrderTrailerParts.com (OTP). Operating out of Idaho, US, the trailer parts operator sells over 1000 SKUs and now WhereSafe real-time GPS technology, globally with its core business in North America.

OTP has noticed an increased amount of GPS related enquiries, and identified the other main reasons why they partnered with WhereSafe.  First is that fleet and rental purchasers are a major driver for OTP, which is a space where GPS tracking has become a key factor in business operations. Second is that the equipment or cargo assets that trailers haul can have huge value, demanding GPS protection. Thirdly, is that trailer theft is a growing issue and owner/operators want to know where their assets are at all times, even during the off season.

“OTP offers thousands of trailer parts to make owning and maintaining trailers easy. And we’ve been listening to our customers, and recognized the need to offer GPS solutions so they can have peace of mind and technology to help drive efficiencies in business,” says Jason Fox, President at OrderTrailerParts.com. “We strive to offer our customers everything they would need to own a trailer and today that means more than simply physical components and accessories, it also means technology,” he adds.

“Trailers are a space that we are seeing major growth in, over the last 18 months,” says Vince Poloniato, President at Solutions Into Motion the company behind WhereSafe and Trackem GPS brands. “These users place major investments into the trailers they haul and often even more into the cargo or equipment that is on or in them. They require location based information on these assets for a wide range of reasons, from day to day logistics, to job site monitoring, employee time clocks, to asset theft protection,” he adds.

OTP will focus its WhereSafe sales on portable magnetic trackers that can be easily moved between trailers and equipment.

The three main products OTP plans to sell are the

BAT Standard

BAT Mini

BAT XT

These products all have magnetic and other mounting options allowing to mount on virtually any surface and are perfectly designed for trailer applications. Each are rechargeable with batteries that can last (depending on the product) from one month to over one year on a single charge. These trackers are rugged and water and dust resistant rated to IP65 or better.
